Overview
BeCommerce.NET is a customized, branded version of the leading asp.net shopping cart platform for developers. It is used by over 5000 developers and nearly 10,000 merchants. After designing its own ecommerce software in the late 90’s, Beacon spent several years evaluating newer, state-of-the-art ecommerce software, to not only provide a cost-effective, feature-rich platform to its customers, but to also ensure that it would be SEO friendly and integrate well with Beacon’s search engine marketing services.
Nearly every one of our customers expects a custom or uniquely designed website that promotes their company’s personality and most often, “is designed better than their competition’s website”. BeCommerce.NET allows Beacon’s Creative Design Team to work its magic into the presentation of your online store, if desired. Of course, we offer several template designs if you are operating on a very tight budget.

Upon upload via the admin tool, software can automatically create three standard images per product created (icon, medium, large). Matrix to identify which product image file goes with which product must be provided by client. |

Client can set up more products via the admin tool or Beacon can quote product import via spreadsheet. |

Beacon will provide up to two configurable options/attributes per product. By default, these options are size and color, but can be modified to suit product. Additional product options may incur additional charge. |

Beacon will create basic “Contact Us” form containing fields for name, phone, email, subject and message. Form will email form submissions to admin mailbox. No database functionality. |

Testing |
Beacon will provide 10 hours of testing and development to fix bugs and apply minor enhancements. |

Training and documentation |
Beacon will provide a 2-hour training session, a user's manual and 8 hours of customer support/consulting by phone. Add'l hours will be billed at Beacon's standard pay-as-you-go rate. |

Product import |
We have allocated 20 hours to facilitate the initial product import. Special Note: Given the potential complexity of loading product data and images, if additional hours are needed, or requested, we will provide a fixed quote or bill at the same standard billable rate. Should this be an issue, we will discuss this with the Client and obtain approval. |
