Since 2003, Beacon has been developing custom mapping software / geographic information systems that provides information such as office locations, regional information, driving directions, GPS positioning, and optimal routes.
Beacon’s web development team designs & develops the software that interfaces with most external applications such as Google Maps, Google Earth and Virtual Earth. We have developed web software applications that utilize their respective API’s to do the following:
- Provide complex geographical sales management w/ drill-down and color-coding features by territory, business type, account rep, sales volume and much more. This proprietary mapping application for one of our clients includes bubble-driven information from underlying databases based on a collection of parameters and menus.
